The table is supplied for surgical operation of chest, abdomen, E.E.N.T., gynaecology
and obstereics, orthopaedics department.1. Horizontal Position: This is the most commonly used position. Height of the table
top can be adjusted as required.2. Maximum Trendelenburg Position: In this position, the patient is secured by shoulder
rests. It is suitable for gynaecological surgery.3. Maximum Reversed Trendelenburg Position: In this position, the foot rest is kept
at a right angle with the leg section to prevent the patient from falling.4. Kidney Position: With the kidney bridge elevated, the back and the seat sections
are in a "break back" position for operations of kidney, lumbar region, abdomen,etc.
5. Lateral Tilt Position:The table top can be tilted to the left or right side. The
body supports are used to prevent the patient from falling. This position issuitable tor thoracic and abdominal operations.6. Abdominal Reflex Position: It is employed to relieve the muscular tension to facilitate
suturing.7. Proctologic Position: Suitable for anal operations, the patient lies on his face
with both legs separated and stretched downward or in a kneeling position.8. Gynaecological Position: Suitable for anal, urethral and perineal operations,
such as haemorrhoidectomy uterine curettage, cystoscopy, procto-scopy,etc.9. Full Chair Position: Suitable for oto-ri\hino-laryngological and cranil operations.
